FAQs

Common Questions

Does my child have to attend full-time?

No, we accept full-time and part-time applications.

Will my child need to wear a uniform?

No, children can wear their own clothes.

When will you let me know if my child has a place?

We generally let parents know if we have a place available 8 weeks before they’re due to start with us, but if we can let you know earlier, we will.

Can I change my days after my child has started? How much notice do I have to give?

We understand that life is complicated and that circumstances change. We ask for two months’ notice if you’d like to change days and it will depend on the availability of your selected days.

We are always happy to provide you with an update on our availability.

How can I find out more about your policies and procedures?

All our nurseries and pre-schools have a range of detailed policies on relevant subjects including child protection and safeguarding; confidentiality; equality and diversity to health and safety. All policies are kept on-site and regularly reviewed, so please ask the Head Teacher at the location of your choice for more information. Once your child is attending one of our settings, you will be able to access them in our secure parents section of this website.

What should I do if my child has a food allergy?

We do our best to accommodate all children’s dietary needs or choices. We have an allergy and food intolerances policy and if there’s a known allergy, we carry out a detailed risk assessment.

What happens if my child is ill?

We ask that you keep your child away from nursery and pre-school while they get better so we can keep all the children as happy and healthy as possible. We operate the 48-hour rule with vomiting or diarrhoea symptoms and ask that you let us know if your child has a contagious illness.

Can I come and view your nursery?

Of course, we welcome visits! You can get in touch to book a visit here. From here you will be able to book a visit to either our nursery and pre-school in Greenwich or our nursery and pre-school in Honor Oak, Forest Hill.
